You may be unsure how to approach an assignment or confused about what you need to do to correctly reference information you got from a published source.

Through Zoom drop-in sessions, a learning skills adviser or librarian can help not only with your assignment but also with developing your academic skills so you can succeed in your course and study program.

These online drop-ins have been designed as one-on-one conversations so you can get personal advice on academic research, writing and study skills for your projects or assignments, particularly for this semester.

You will be able to see one of our expert staff and talk to them through the screen, exactly as if you had spoken to them at the Library.  These sessions are offered between 12pm – 6pm on Monday – Friday.

Other online services that the Library provides can help you improve your skills:

  • Research and Learning Online provides resources to equip you with many of the skills you need to successfully complete your assignments, exams and research, at your own pace, including for:
    • studying at university
    • academic integrity including citing and referencing
    • research and writing in different disciplines from undergraduate to graduate research level.
  • This Library blog also publishes weekly study tips to help you with your online study.
