NAIDOC Week celebrations are held across Australia each July to celebrate the history, culture and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

NAIDOC is celebrated not only in Indigenous communities, but by Australians from all walks of life. The week is a great opportunity to participate in a range of activities and to support your local Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.

A range of activities have been arranged at Monash this week as part of this celebration, including a tour of the Aboriginal Garden and the Open Day at the new Yulendj space at Clayton in the former Education building.

A general list of resources regarding Indigenous culture and Reconciliation was developed earlier this year. It gives you links to access books, music and video available through the Library and elsewhere, for Monash staff and students who might be interested.

Please feel free to download the full list, which is a mixture of print and online resources, and has been prepared with the general reader in mind. We hope you find it useful.
